What do you wear to an electrical trade show in Nashville? Aloha shirts.
Each year the National Electrical Contractors Association, the industry’s leading group on all things electrical, power and lighting, hosts their annual conference and trade show. Although the trade show circuit has been confusing to navigate this year, we were excited to hear that the annual NECA Show would be held in person, in Nashville.
According to ENR, electrical construction is far and away the biggest revenue share of all specialty trade categories, at 29% of annual revenue. It is also the trade most impacted by Change Orders, ranging from early design changes to unforeseen conditions underground to small light switch changes, and the list goes on. As we develop new relationships and customers in the electrical trade, it is important for us to get our message in front of leading electrical contractor decision makers who are looking for ways to improve their processes, financials, and customer and employee experience.
Over three days we met with dozens of contractors, consultants, and thought leaders in the industry and had a blast at the Milwaukee Tool Kickoff party. We gave away limited edition “Sparky’s: We Have the Power” T-shirts and played some Basketball with crumpled up T&M Tags. Yes, we worked too, and we were busy with live, interactive demos. We even demoed at the food court in the airport on the way home.
And next year, we’ll see you in Austin, Texas.
If you are an electrical contractor in need of a better change order process that keeps your team and customers on the same page, let’s talk. of Extracker today.
